Jacarandas

Beautiful summer flowering Jacaranda trees are used extensively to line suburban streets. Their neat shape and intense lilac coloured flowers make them ideal for the purpose.
In this roadside painting, the verge is terracotta coloured gravel stones, making the perfect compliment for the purple carpet of flowers.
Oil on canvas over board 6" x 10.5".

  1. Praying that you are safe, Alice. The Australian floods look quite devastating...... (I wasn't sure how else to send this note)

  2. Thankyou for your concern Bella. Yes, the floods are massive - an area larger than France and Germany combined. The 3 flooded river systems have now cut off a town of 65,000 people. It's happening in Queensland, a state on the other side of Australia and to the north. We are having a heatwave.... normal for January. :)
